These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HomeTeams mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”). HomeTeams is provided by Brae Applications, LLC (“Brae Applications,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Using HomeTeams
HomeTeams facilitates the coordination of care and household tasks among family, friends, and paid helpers. The platform enables team formation, task assignment, communication, and monitoring through advanced technological features, including an AI Coach that provides informational support. HomeTeams is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice. The AI Coach is intended solely for organizational and informational purposes, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice.
2. Accounts
To use HomeTeams, you must register and create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities conducted through your account.
3. Services
Communication Platform: HomeTeams provides a communication platform for users to coordinate care and task management. We are not responsible for the interactions among users.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and up-to-date. You agree to use the Service legally and ethically, respecting the rights and dignity of others.
5. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of all content you post, share, or upload within HomeTeams. By using the Service, you grant Brae Applications a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for marketing purposes without your consent.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service are owned by or licensed to Brae Applications. You may not use any branding, logos, or content without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information and disclaim all liability arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on the AI Coach.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brae Applications shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brae Applications and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of applicable laws or regulations.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in activities that may harm others or the platform.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Benton County, Washington. By using the Service, you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of the Terms and, if required by law, by providing additional notice.
